Specs: Windows XP
Have Linksys router - cable modem and computer pluged into router. Everthing works fine - have wireless access throughout home for laptop, etc. Entered default router ip address into browser to access settings for router and page is blank. Last time I did this it opened up settings- not now. Whats up with this?

type cmd that will bring up a black command prompt box.
type ipconfig that will bring up your current IP and tell you "default gateway"

The number for the default gateway is the IP address to enter in your browser window.

If it is it just the router page you are having trouble with then it makes me think that the router has screwed up somehow.

Try powering it off for about half a minute. If that doesn't help you might need to set it up again.

Agree with Derek. I was recently supplied with a new Netgear combination cable modem/wired/wireless router and it also has a tendency to ignore attempts to log into the admin interface. A power down/up cycle fixes things without having to do a full factory reset which would otherwise mean having to re-do all the configuration settings.
