Specs: Windows XP, 566mhz
Want to load win xp , but my system is not allowing me to change the boot sequence

No os on hard drive at present.I have the six floppies and the system is a Micros 566mhz. Thanks

Not enough info. Six floppies can't hold all the WinXP installation files. You must have a recovery set that is intended to repair an existing installation of WinXP.

Not sure you will be able to install XP on very old hardware. You have not provided enough information about the hardware. Is this a pre-configured system or custom? Either way, need model numbers for system or motherboard. If very old you probably can't use a modern hard drive due to the capacity being beyond the ability of the BIOS.

Obviously it was not possible before.After rereading some info, I got new insight , applied it and presto it worked. Thanks to all for their time and effort.
