CD Writer says there is no CD in the CD drive

December 6, 2010 at 07:03:19
Specs: Windows XP
I am ignorant whwn it comes to IT.

I have loaded a number of files onto my CD ROM drive (M) and, when I highlight the M drive, all the files are there to see.

I highlight the files that I want to burn.

Then I click "File" and "Copy files to CD".

I have tried many "writable CDs" but I always get the messages saying there is no writable CD in the drive or I am prompted to put a writable CD into the drive.

In the past, I have been able to burn data and programs onto blank CDs.

Try to use other burning software like image burn.

We can not fight new wars with old weapons, let him who desires piece prepare for war - PROPHET.
