|You should be able to access the CD. What is on the CD? If the CD was created using a packet writer and was never finalized (closed properly) you may need to access it using the same packet writer. |
That could prove to be problematic if the version is not compatible with WinXP.
If the CD is a music or video CD you may need to install some codecs. If the CD has data saved in a specific program you may need to have that program installed. For example, Excel files would need MS Excel or a compatible program.
Do you KNOW what type of files are on the disk?
