Specs: Windows XP
I cant set the resolution of my samsung syncmaster 591s PC after re-installing it with windows xp. I downloaded the driver from the manufacturer..which was just few kb's and when i tried to install it, the pc said i need to install a video card driver first. What video card driver would be appropriate for my PC and how could I set a resolution above 640 * 480? when i went to "settings" in "display properties" i just see only default monitor and i cant click it or change the resolution...do help me in this issue

go to samsungs website and see if you can find the drivers for your pc or if you still have the drivers disk install that

You have to re-install the video drivers, not the monitor drivers.
