cant open bios help

ok so its my first time building a pc and i am useing an old monitor and it does not have hdmi so i only used vga but it says no input

So, how do you have the monitor connected? What port, cable, adapters if any?

I assume you have some knowledge about the hardware?
Any specs of the components you used?
Are you using the on board Graphic Processor unit (GPU)? Or a GPU extension board?

gpu Video Card – ASUS Radeon Rx 480 4GB OC

RAM – Crucial 8GB DDR4 Single

500Power Supply – EVGA 500W

Hard Drive – Seagate 1TB

asus CD Drive – Asus 24x DVD-RW

oh and also my fans are spinning but the screen says no input

i have the vga connected to the mother board not the gpu becuase it has no vga port, for now i wil use the motherboard but in a couple of days ime getting a vga adapter

Did you remove the Video card when you use the Motherboard video?
Make sure you disconnect the AC before doing anything to the hardware!

A reset of the CMOS/BIOS sometimes solves POST problems.

If you're going to use the motherboard graphics port, you have to remove the video card. Are you in the bench-testing phase or did you install everything in the case without testing it 1st?
