Problem I'm having is that when I print nozzle check, all the colours seem fine except for the lighter shades of cyan. They do not come through. Cyan on it's own shows ok as does the magenta shades but cyan shades don't. I've cleaned the heads etc. and there's plenty of ink. Done the head cleaning also. Any ideas?
As far as I can see that printer has a separate print head, unlike most more modern printers where each color cartridge has its own print head. My best guess is that you need a new print head, although they are probably not cheap.
Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
The print head is in pretty good condition. So I'm a little stuck here.
Re #2. Are you going by appearance? How old is the print head? Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
It's only about a year old. I took it apart and there was little blockage. All colours seem fine but when I print the print head check it's the cyan that comes out perfect but the 2 shades don't show up well.
Difficult to imagine what else could cause your symptoms except print head or cartridges. Lack of use can cause blockages due to drying out. Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I hadn't used it for a while so I cleaned the print head but didn't notice any blockages.
I'm afraid print head blockages are not usually visible. That's what I think this is. Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
Not necessary a blockage, could be the logic embedded in the print head. I have a similar problem with my HP inkjet printer. Ordered a new print head. Hope it will fix my problem.
Sorry but what does that mean? Can that be cleaned?
The logic is the electronics built into the print head. Not something for cleaning. Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
Do you think restoring the printer to it's default settings might help?
Not if the print head is at fault. Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
