I've got a Canon MG4250 which for the past week is telling me it's got a paper jam [Error 1303], but I've checked along the paper path and there is nothing there. I've even pushed through A4 Card and that has not helped.

I've tried everything on my Canon, including all the solutions I've read on these pages but NOTHING is working at all and I cannot get that damned 1303 Error to clear.

So now I'm going to have to get rid of it and see if I can find something better? Something without any built-in flaws.

Does anyone else out there have any ideas?

I had the same problem. Never got it fixed & ended up giving the printer away. See if any of the suggestions in this thread are of any use: https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View...

So I talked to a local computer repair store and after outlining the situation he told me that most low-end printers have an all-in-one-package approach to their internal components and that it looked like a sensor had gone in the paper transfer assembly and it could cost between 60 to 70 quid in opening and replacing the whole assembly just for one sensor and that I'd be better off getting a replacement printer from eBay or something. And in fact, I did for only 36 pounds. I ended up having to throw the old one away
