No an error isn't an error, there are thousands of different errors and possibilities as to what can cause them. It could be hardware or software related, and literally unlimited reasons for both.

So if your serious about wanting help, I suggest you right click on your CD drive again and pay attention to what the error is.

Yes, we understand that, but we have no idea of what is wrong with your system unless you tell us the error message. We are not mind readers.

Now in the time you have wasted here with worthless bickering about the error message, you could have posted it and we could have helped you. Or are you just a troll looking to stir up trouble?

I am. Your cd drive has left you ( in spirit ) for someone with better taste in wine. Buy a new cd rom and examin your tastes in wine. Problem solved.

It could also be that your central processing unit has decided yo fight you for custody of the drive in which case I would shoot both, move to Vegas and buy a Mac.

My guess would be that you either have a bad muffler bearing or your Framistan regulator valve has an incorrect frickter setting. Try 2.3 degrees below top dead center.
Never mind, move to Vegas and buy a Mac.
