can i use my old heatsink fan from my Pentium E2160 (C) 1.8 GHz for a pentium E6500 2.93 GHz?

Will it fit? Yes. Will it keep the E6500 cool enough? Hard to say. All you can do is try it. If the temp gets too high, start shopping for a replacement. Don't worry about frying the CPU, it's internally protected from overheating to the point of failure.
