Specs: Windows XP, 3.013 GHz / 2046 MB
The RAM I have in my system now is only 266.7 mhz PC 4200 and my MO says it is a PC 6000+ by BioStar that can use 533mhz, 667mhz, and 800mhz but it doesn't specify what PC (value)----like 4200 or 5300 or 6400....Thanks for any info!

It would help to know which CPU you have. If it's an AMD, you should be using DDR2-800/PC2-6400 (they're the same thing). If you have an Intel CPU, the proper RAM speed would depend on the FSB the CPU runs at. Regardless of the CPU, if you add DDR2-800 to your DDR2-533 (PC2-4200), ALL the RAM will run as DDR2-533.

If you want the best performance, get rid of the DDR2-533/PC2-4200.
