Drivers you can download from Sony's website, but if you want the original included programs you are going to have to contact Sony support to see if they will give you the links to download these or a recovery disk set that you can burn to DVDs or maybe sell you a recovery disk set in the 64bit version.

While I prefer 64bit also, there are not too many programs that can take full advantage of 64bit computing so unless you need one of these or plan to use more than 4GB of memory then you probably should have stayed with 32bit that was already installed.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

"I Tried a CLEAN FORMAT to switch to 64 bit before. But I lost all my original programs"

What did you think was going to happen? Formating erases all data from the HDD & sets up a new file system in preparation for the installation of the OS or for use as a storage drive. When you formated, you should have received a warning similar to - "ALL data will be lost, do you wish to continue?". Obviously you continued, therefore all your programs were lost.

A 64-bit OS can run both 32-bit & 64-bit programs, but you cannot change a program (or driver) from 32-bit to 64-bit. If want to run a 64-bit OS, you will need to download & install 64-bit drivers.

Hi Mickliq.
Yes I knew I was gonna loose my all data after formating. But I burned my Vaio's driver set an recovery programs to Dvd s. But they didn't work with 64Bit OS After I install them back.
