Can I install faster hard drive

Specs: Windows 7 64 Bit, socket f/ 1207
I have a Hp P6500z desktop and it came with a western digital 7200rpm hard drive can i replace it with a Hp Wide ULTRA320 15000RPM SCSI hard drive

Your ears will thank you for going for the SSD option rather than the SCSI disk. And it will be faster.

SCSI drives are rarely used in home desktops and few systems support them natively. They are more commonly used in professional workstations and servers. A 15000 RPM drive will be noisy. An SSD will consume less power, create no sound, and be faster.

Yeah, SCSI's were the "cat's meow" back in my day (386's-486's). They've been far surpassed by SSD's on newer systems
