You didn't state what you wish to accomplish. That said, below is a link to the manual for that board. It shows some specs for RAM. Keep in mind that memory chip density was different then than it is now.

I advise you to go to crucial.com and use their online scan tool to determine what RAM will work. Reading the specs on their recommended RAM will yield the chip density.

Type
: DDR
Capacity : 512MB
Speed
: DDR 400Mhz PC3200
Density : HIGH DENSITY(click here for more info)
Pins : 184Pin
ECC/Registered : No/No
CAS Latency : CL3
Voltage : 2.5V
Unbuffered DIMM

I ordered this from ebay. Only after to realise it is a high density one, my carelessness! So i will like to know if it would work on my motherboard. I did some google.com research, most sites are saying the low density are the more highly recommended ones. And that the high density ones only work on like 10% motherboards. My mobo has a KM266 motherboard chip. In my research i saw that high density ram may work on KM266 chips. Can you help me with some tech support? I tried crucial.com, but it can't find my manufacturer and not giving much information.Thanks.

* Maximum Memory Capacity: 2048MB
* Currently Installed Memory: 512MB
* Available Memory Slots: 1
* Total Memory Slots: 2
* Dual Channel Support: No
* CPU Manufacturer: AuthenticAMD
* CPU Family: AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2000+ Model 8, Stepping 1
* CPU Speed: 1665 MHz
* The name of this model may not exactly match the model description of your system, our system scanner could not identify a specific model name when evaluating your computer. However, it was able to identify the motherboard your system utilizes.

I get this info from crucial.com. It doesn't have anything about high or low density. Can this info help to determine if the high density ram i order will work on my motherboard? Thanks.
