Can a SATA PCB be change?

Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 320gb hard dri...

Specs: Windows XP, 2.2ghz Core2duo/1gb
can it be change with other PCB like a SATA Barracuda 320GB PCB to a 250GB SATA Barracuda PCB

i know its model are not alike or the same but the PCB is all i think of... is it possible to RUN the DISK?

but other people say it will do damage and burnt... if it is possible its good

please someone share your info you've known

I don't think it will work sometimes even the same pcb refuse to work.

Are you talking about replacing the PCB on drive with one from another drive? For this to work the drives must have the same model number and several other things as well must match. If the drives are of different capacity there is NO way this will work.

OK thanks you all maybe right im just thinking anyway... if it still possible... if it is... well GOOD for me but what you all say was majority... and its all true.. YUP! I believe its wrong also to do that changing a PCB from other HDD to my Own HDD PCB
