Hello There,

I have my camera. After taking a lot of nice photos I inserted the memory in my laptopt to copy them but I could'nt open it. and it says I should format it.

I didn't format the card. is there any to recover the photos from it?

P.S: the card is no physically broken or something. it was new one.

thanks for help

Can you view the photos from your camera? Can you connect the camera to the computer?

If yes to both, try importing them from the camera to your laptop. That is how I always get photos from my cameras to my PC.

...if it ain't broke, then you ain't having fun...

NO I can't. if I could I wouldn't post my question here. when you insert the card you will see the drive icon for the memory card. when I click on it it says it can't be opened and need to format that drive. I don't want to format it cuz I will lose everything on it.

"NO I can't. if I could I wouldn't post my question here"

First off, drop the attitude, we have no idea what you have tried.

No you can't what, that was a two part question.
1. Can you see the photos if you put the card back in your camera?
2. Can you connect the camera to your computer.

Also, have you tried a card reader?
