Specs: Windows
Hi guys, I'm buying a new PC for school tomorrow so I would like your advice. Im going with this setup:
AMD Athlon X4 840
Asus nVidia GTX 750Ti 2GB DDR5 GTX750TI-PH-2GD5
I'm going do to some light gaming on it like Overwatch and League of Legends, plus maybe a few old title. Also I'll be doing some light video editing, Adobe Premier, Adobe Phitoshop, maybe some 3ds Max etc, will this do?
Also, I dont know if to get Win7 64 or Win10 64; what do you think? Thank you in advance

You didn't list a motherboard, or the make/model of the power supply, or the RAM speed. Also, there are better graphics cards that are cheaper. The 750Ti is getting "old".

If I was building an FM2+ system, I'd go with:

Athlon X4 860k -
A88X based motherboard -
8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-2133 -
Radeon RX 460 -
Corsair 450W -

$65 + $70 + $45 + $88 + $26 = $294

Also GTX1050 (or even GTX950) list better than the GTX750Ti (which I have for a while now) and are similar in price.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

AMD MSI FM2+ A68HM-E33 V2 & KINGSTON 1600MHz KVR16N11/8, I really don't know about the power suply, it doesnt say anything except that it is 500w. I'm kinda streching my budget with this one as it is, for about 408.5$. I'd be okay with an older GPU, for now atleast, if it will do the job. I'm not really in a good position to chose :P
I could go for something for a few bucks more, like:
Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-S1
AMD Athlon X4 845 4-Core 3.5GHz (Turbo 3.8GHz)
Gigabyte AMD RX 460 2GB DDR5 128bit GV-RX460WF2OC-2GD 1.1
8GB DDR3 Kingston DIMM DDR3 8GB 1600Mhz KVR16N11/8BK
HDD2 Toshiba HDD 1TB 3.5" 7200 SATA 3.0 32MB
Midi Tower 500W Black IG-Max 3002 12cm fan

My total is $294. I added it to my other response.

- The A68H chipset in the board you listed is entry level, the A88X is high performance.

- the 860k (3.7GHz w/4.0GHz turbo) is faster than the 845. Not only that, but it's a black edition which means it's easily overclockable because the multiplier is unlocked.

- The DDR3-1600 RAM you listed will work, but the memory controller in the CPU is designed to handle DDR3-2133. In other words, the slower RAM will be a bottleneck.

- You should almost NEVER buy a case/power supply combo unless you know what you're getting. The 500W PSU in that case is very likely to be a low end piece of crap. If it blows, it will likely burn out some other hardware along with it. If you know what to look for, you don't necessarily have to spend a lot of money. The Corsair 450W that I linked to is only $26 after rebate, but is has all the necessary ingredients - ATX12V / EPS12V, Modular, 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified, +12V@37.4A, Active PFC, etc.
