Help!!! I was trying to boot MacBook from Ubuntu CD.
It was not working so I changed sytem preferences in Mac OS to allow it to restart using start up disk as the CD. It
started off fine I set the language. After that it froze
with nothing showing on the screen( just a blank
screen of turned on Comp) I shut it down and restarted
it. It now shows me this msg "ISOLINUX 3.63 Debian-
2008-07-15 Copyright (C) 1994-2008 H. Peter Anvin""
and a blinking cursor. Nothing else.
I cannot start the computer on Mac Os the above
screen always pops up even when I don't hold the 'C' key and nothing else changes.
Help is urgently needed.

I have rebooted thrice and on setup set language to English. It starts setup and then shows me a blank screen.
PS: I am using CD-RW. Do these work very fine for install CD's

It sounds rather like you tried installing Ubuntu on your MacBook, rather than running as a live CD in which case you may need to reinstall your Mac OS but I'm not a Mac owner so you may be best to post the query in the Mac forum.
