Specs: Windows xp, intelatom/1gb
computer shows- the bootable device has been not detected and says go to refer this problem- http:\\\solution\motherboard\desktop.and computer screen is black.

The Intel URL you are advised to visit no longer exists anyway, so ignore that.

It looks like your computer's hard drive may have failed and needs replacing.
To check if it has indeed failed, test it with Seagate SeaTools for DOS.
Go here and click "Downloads":
Be sure to download "SeaTools for DOS", NOT SeaTools for Windows.

The download is an ISO file from which you can create a CD using IMGBurn from here:

When you've made the CD, boot your PC from it and the SeaTools for DOS utility will open. Select the appropriate hard drive and run the long/extended test on it.

It appear your Hdd isn't detected, confirm by checking the BIOS. Remove the Hdd from the netbook and test it in another working system, u will need a enclosure or sata data & power cable. If Hdd is bad u need to replace it.

If Bios don't see the hdd no other software will be able to see the hdd.

You know the real meaning of peace only if you have been through the war.
