Boot from a PCI-E SSD?

Specs: Windows Vista Home Premium x64, Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.8GHz / 18 GB DDR3-1600
I want to get an SSD and been looking at the OCZ RevoDrive, PCI-E. OCZ says I can boot from it no problem, but i heard not all motherboards will allow that. I'm wondering can I boot from a PCI-E SSD on my MSI X58 Platinum motherboard, if not, what LGA-1366 gamer/high end type board will allow that?

Your board has to have the pci boot option. It also has to have some luck. Seems that the OS's are just not well tuned to booting from ssd's on pci-e yet. Look at some of the reviews posted at places that sell the revo drive.

I'd sure like to have one but the price is still too high.
