bios will not detect sata hd - solved

Specs: Windows 7, i5 / 4gb
hi
had [now solved!] problem - bios did not detect new sata
the problem was neither the hd nor the system
specs:
mb ecs H67H2-M3
cpu i5
4gb ram
os win7 home
problem hd - wd 1tb sata
after removing all unnecessary usb connections the bios 'saw' the new sata hd. the culprit was a bluetooth radio.
remember to leave bios hd settings in ide mode [default?] and no jumpers on sata hd.
praise Christ!
