Specs: Windows XP Pro SP3, Pentium 4 HT, 3.00 GHz-x64-1 Gb. DDR-400

I have been having beep problems with my computer BIOS. Today when I turned it on, it gave me the beep code for a bad video card, while Windows XP was loading. Sometimes when I turn it on, it will have one long beep and no video. Also, every now and then, the computer will give one single low pitched beep while in Windows. (Usually while using a low memory program like Word 2000). The motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-8I915PL-G rev. 2 with BIOS F4. The power supply is an Antec 400 watt, the graphics card is a PNY Verto FX5200.

Why is it beeping when there are no apperent problems. Also, I can't replace the graphics card, I have no PCI-E cards and the only other PCI card I have is a S3 Trio 64. (Came from a Windows 95 computer)
