benchmark not what it should be

Specs: Windows Vista x64 eternity 2009, 3.0 GHz / 8190 MB
can someone tell me why my benchmark score is so low i ran performance test 64 and got a score of 1519
with rather nice marks my system is a Q6600 2.4 ghz kintsfield, MSI p6n sli nforce 65i, 8gb ocz gold 800mhz pc2-6400,
i am overclocked @ 3ghz fsb 1333 multiplier x9 benchmarks online for this cpu is 3000 whats up any help is appreciated thanks

benchmark test? If you are talking about Windows Experience Index, it's crap. Read the following thread and RELAX.

for a true benchmark run a futuremark product - with a very similar system i score ~13000

Evga 680i, Q6600 @3.0ghz, 4gb ram, 8800gts ssc, two sata seagate baracudas...
