Belkin wireless router not working properly.

Specs: Windows 7
I bought a Belkin n150 wireless router the other day, because my old one stopped working. I use it for my laptop, and also for my phone and iPod touch, and the laptop stays connected no problem, but for my phone and ipod, it keeps dropping the connection, and says that it's disabled. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I would try to update the firmware and see if that solves any of your problems.

Your Smart phone and iPad must be close enough to the router such that they're getting a strong enough wireless connection to the router. The Smart phone's and iPad's wireless network adapter may require a stronger wireless connection than your computer's wireless network adapter (if that's what you're using) does.

On the other hand, a friend of mine had a Belkin n150 model that became defective. The network ports on it no longer worked properly. It was covered by it's one year ? warranty, he sent it away, they replaced it and shipped it to him for free, and the same model now works fine.
