Specs: Windows Vista
I have been recently expieriencing waves of lag when starting up any game. I wiped my computer because i thought it was a virus but it came back. So i looked at the video card and i noticed that the fan was installed backwards! So the lag was caused by my video card overheating. does anyone know how to fix this?

Do you have a 9400 GT? It really can't be called a gaming card so I don't know what you're expecting out of it? Which games are you trying to play?

What do you mean it was installed backwards? The fan should blow toward the heatsink on the card. If you look at the newegg customer reviews of the PNY 9400 GT, there are a lot of complaints about overheating. Are you running temp monitoring software so that you can check the GPU temp? Have you checked the CPU temp? A hot CPU will throttle back & cause lag too.
