atx form card

usb wont work i am not getting whther this board is faulty or not however i see in google the same problem had occured to more people

Is this the 'ATX form card' you're talking about:

If so, you don't need drivers. The mouse, USB and infrared ports are enabled/disabled in the bios and XP will have its own drivers for them. So make sure USB is enabled.

yes that is the card
I have checked several times in bios but it shows enabled the option.
do you know how to update bios
and how to find the current veriosn what version should i use
my mobo is kob 810e tfsx

The driver download page is here:

and shows a bios update. Make sure you do it right if you try the upgrade.

First check in your device manager and see if the USB ports show up there and if it indicates any problem with them.

If it's just the USB ports that don't work you're probably better off getting a USB 2.0 add-on card especially since the ports on yours are the slower 1.1.

Edit The bios download there says it's the 'first release'. That probably means it's the only bios they made for that motherboard. So you may get no benefit from doing the update.

I ended up buying a new pci usb card and this has working.it costs $5 and saved a lot of time to think on this motherboard.
I have seen in other forums for the same problem for a different mobo they finally planned to pci-usb card like me

I suggest mod to close this thread
