Atomic Clocks Do Not Coinside

Specs: irrelevant
Atomic clocks do not coinside.

I have this radio shack WWV over the air.
I also have this clock radio which i assume gets WWV over the power line.

They are consistantly different by two minutes plus or minus a few seconds.

What gives?

Best

PS I wanted to post this in the Lounge

Although your post does not belong here (clocks are not "input devices"), please go here and scroll down to My clock is off by a few minutes or seconds: http://www.nist.gov/pml/div688/grp4...

Sorry about the input devices selection.
In the old days on this site I just posted
in the current discussion or the current
board subheading.

After reading your reference i guess i have
a defective clock radio/ internal chip in the
clock radio. Guess i should tear it down
and do a consumer report of wrong
software in cheap clockradios.
