Good Morning. I have an Radeon HD4650 PCI-E card in my new machine. I have no problems with it except that when I try to use the ATI tool to try and tweak it, the program doesn't recognize the card. It says the card isn't being used by my monitor which is a Samsung 740 BF lcd. I'm using the dvi input and have checked everything I can. Control panel says it configured correctly. SIW identifies it etc. I have Catalyst control; center 9.9 installed, but there is an update. Version 9.11 that I haven't installed yet. Any Ideas???

Hi Kuwese. I guess you're getting ready for dinner and I haven't had breakfast yet :) Yes, I have the latest version of the tool, but I didn't install the latest Catalyst control version yet. Just trying to narrow it down a bit.

What i think is ati tools has issue with catalyst but install the latest version catalyst and see what happens, if it fail to recognize the card try different software *ati tray tools* or *river tuner*

Try installing the ATI drivers only, without the Catalyst Control Center.

Installed the driver only and still the same. error says to go to control panel / display options and enable the monitor output for the card. It is / I did.
