Specs: Windows 7, i7 3960x 4.4 ghz,g.skill 8x8gb
hi,
i have 4 amd 7970 cards..i need to buy 4 monitors for eyefinity...i found the asus vg278h very good but the prob is,its a nvidia 2 monitor or something like that and on newegg it says that its 3d feature can only be enabled on nvidia cards?so is it possible to run the monitors in 3d on 7970 cards?

tq in advance
mukit

I find it very difficult answering questions about such high end hardware. Over $1000 for the CPU, 4 video cards at over $500 each, $400 power supply, $500 for RAM, & now 4 monitors at $700 a pop? That's over $6000 & doesn't include the drives, case, etc. I paid less that $3000 for my current vehicle & that was over 2 yrs ago! If you can afford to spend that kind of money, why not let a professional build the system for you?

"is it possible to run the monitors in 3d on 7970 cards?"

No, because you need to use the nvidia 3D Vision glasses.

"..i pent $980 on the ram.."

Since wasting money doesn't seem to be a problem for you, get rid of the AMD Radeon HD 7970's & replace them with four nVidia GTX 680's.
