|I went to upgrade memory in a friend's old PC. Windows XP system info and the Crucial Memory scanner both say the PC motherboard is ASUS P4V800-X with 3 slots. But, when I opened up the PC, the motherboard only had two memory slots. I'm a relative newbie to hardware upgrades (though I don't usually have problems with just inserting memory), so I'm stumped. How do I find out what model of motherboard this really is?|
I'm hesitant to add memory unless I have the correct motherboard manual to know maximum voltages supported.
