PC monitors have different connections than Macs. You would have to buy an adapter to use it with a Mac. I would suggest you lower the brightness on your current monitor. You can increase the size of the screen if your squinting. They also sell anti glare covers that go over the monitor to reduce glare. Led is the type of backlight lamp on your Mac vs. a fluorescent backlight which is used by most lcd monitors. I would try some adjustments first and see if that helps. Good Luck.

That was very helpful- unfortunately I've already changed the
brightness and the mac monitors are still killing me- but the
difference between flourescent and led is where I think my
problem lies- I can work for hours on my pc with no prob- 20
mins on the mac and whammo insta headache! Thanks! But
with an adaptor that monitor should work correct?
