My system currently does not have any case fans. It only has fans on CPU and GPU and one on the inside of the system on the PSU. I wanted to get a case fan to improve my cooling because I wanted to lower the temperature. The system is not overheating but it is warmer then before these days due to the summer heat and I don't want that.

Now I was considering of getting a case fan. Which one should I get? Should I get a fan for the top rear of the case to blow air out or a side fan to blow air in the case. Which one would be effective? and how do I know when buying a fan that whether it blows air in or out?

Please Advice

Do NOT get a side panel fan. All you need is an exhaust fan in the rear.

As high in the rear as possible and set as exhaust. One only is all you need.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

I had a computer case lying around and it had an exhaust fan connected to the rear. I took that fan and attached it to my current system. Temp has gone down by 6 degrees....
