Anyone know where I can locate the VGA cord for my monitor??

September 4, 2017 at 20:27:19
Specs: Windows 10
Recently acquired a MAG InnoVision LT765S Model 780 Monitor.
I'm pretty computer savvy .. couldn't find the power input anywhere. Started googling .. so relieved to have found these posts because I turned the thing upside down and backward and was about to take it apart! Turns out I was given the wrong VGA cord .. OY!!
Now I have to find one and web trolling so far hasn't been productive. And the company folded in the '90's.
Thanks in advance for any help offered!

Any electronics store will have one, any mom & pop computer store will probably give you one for free.

lol - the power input and vga cord input are two different things anyway mate!

You need an external a/c power adapter for the LT765S, similar to those used for a laptop, with a pin type connector to plug in to the monitor. Amazon has them:

The VGA cord is just a standard, legacy 15-pin D-Sub cable.

Just to clarify .. an ordinary VGA cable does not work for this monitor.

The VGA cable for this model monitor IS EXTREMELY UNIQUE .. it has a male power input ON the VGA CABLE near the screws. It is unlike anything I have ever seen. Very unusual setup.

I have the power cord with the female end, thank you everyone for your responses! I'm still looking for the proper cord .. 'tis a mystery to be solved!!!
