Solved Am I allowed to bring computer parts with me on a flight?

Specs: Windows XP
So basicly I am travelling from germany to greece in 3 weeks.I am willing to build a new computer and I was wondering if I could bring some pc parts with me.Am I allowed to bring them on the plane with me and what parts should I buy and bring on the plane with me and what parts on the bag?Should i remove them from the pacages or what should I know please help me.(sorry if i selected wrong category but I didn't know which category i should choose)

Don't see why not. Carry them in you hand baggage where they can be examined and declare them when you go through security. If they are in the original packing all the better.

Putting a motherboard in the hold baggage would set alarm bells ringing everywhere.

Will the x-ray damage any parts or is it fine and can i be sure about it ? I mean I dont want to buy some parts and then have them ask me to throw them away.Should i remove the foil if theres any and let them in the original packing.Also should I Bring any part with me but the motherboard ?

It's best to contact the airport authorities with questions of that nature rather than relying on information given to you on this forum which may not be correct. It's really beyond the scope of this forum.

He's traveling from Germany to Greece. The rules may be very different from the U.S. TSA's rules.

Also if someone could let me know if i could bring a mechanical keyboard , a mouse and a headset with me without having any problem would be nice :)
