|Everything I download from the internet or network tends to be corrupted, all MD5 hashes fail.|
Here is what I have done so far to troubleshoot the problem:
- Ran Memtest86
- Ran Prime95
- Ran disk check for hard drive errors
All of these tests passed.
- Reinstalled OS and updated drivers
- Installed a PCI Express Network Card (which works as it was on another computer on my home network and had no issues, the latest drivers were installed when the network card was bought)
And I continue to have the same issues, I have tried downloading files from the internet as well as network transfers, all the MD5's fail, sometimes the data integrity is lost to a point where I have to re-download the file. This is not just with a single file type but has been a problem for everything I obtain from the network.
It is not my router as other computers on my home network do not have this problem.
It is at this point that I think the motherboard has something to do with it, but I want to be sure, has anyone else has the same issue? I am considering replacing the motherboard although want to avoid it if it turns out that it is not the problem. I am not sure what to do at this point or where to proceed.
Here are my specs:
Motherboard: Foxconn X38A
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX560Ti
Processor: Quad Core Q6600
