Aging 8500GT vs Aging HD 4670

Specs: Windows 7, Athlon 500++ / 3 GB DDR2
Hi, I want to know how much faster the readeon is compared to my pretty bad 8500GT (it cannot run AOE III or NFSMW maxed out :( ). Reviews are good for the ATi, and I know neither of them is top notch by any means (the 5670 was launched some days ago). I plan to build a completely new system later on in the year, but as a casual gamer I want something better that doesn't require a lot of power or is very expensive now. My LCD monitor is a humble Samsung 933 (19in.). Thanks for all the info you can give me.

The 8500GT is pretty low end & can barely be considered a gaming card. The HD4670 is MUCH better.

i have a radeon 4670 and it's a nice little bargain card. if you can cross two of them...that's where it's at !

Yes, the nVidia 8500 GT really sucks, It can't even run games of its era or even older without lagging. I think it's the worst piece of hardware I've ever bought. :(
