Adjust monitor setting for less eye strain

Microsoft Windows xp professional w/serv...

Specs: Windows Vista Home SP2, Intel T2330 / 2gb
What settings would i change if I wanted to make my computer screen a little easier to look at for long periods of time? My eyes hurt after a long day at work....Using my computer less is not an option.

Set the resolution to the native resolution if the screen is an LCD. None of the other supported resolutions will be as sharp.

Also use the cleartype tuner. See the link below.

And if the native resolution makes everything too small, just increase the DIP setting:
