Solved Add New Hardware. Cannot run two devices at the same time

Specs: Windows XP
Cannot Open Device Manager. Only an hourglass is shown. Entire computer is extremely slow....like something is always running in background.

Please list your system specs & explain your problem in more detail. What happens if you boot into Safe Mode?

Run MalwareBytes on it and paste the log on here if it finds anything.

After a lot of trial and error, I finally fixed it with Microsoft's Fixccs.exe program found at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/953... After installing, I got a Found New Hardware request that I had NOT ever seen. Thanks for all the help. Feel free to pass on this Fixccs.exe file to solve the next guy's problem.
