I don't know how to put it, but here it goes
.
I had a opitplex gx280 and i had to reinstall Windows xp because some things went wrong, anyway so once i reinstalled Windows xp on my Opitplex i noticed that on my Task manager i could not show two CPU graphs so i went into Device manager and noticed in the My Computer bit, it says ACPI uniprocessor pc(Adanced Pehipheral Interupt Control) , so i Googled it and it said to allow hypertreading in BIOS, so did and it worked fine after thatNow i have another computer with a AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3000+ 2.17GHz and in the device manager it says ACPI uniprocessor pc. So before i go and do somthing with my computer i decided to send this question and ask you for some advice
Shell i leave it alone?
Hyperthreading is available 4 intel cpu. There's nothing wrong with your amd system. ADVANCED CONFIGURATION and POWER INTERFACE
