Specs: Windows 7
I have a new Acer Aspire z5600 23" touch screen, for some reason, I can not use any other resolution other than 1920x1080, if I try to adjust the settings, the screen just flashes different colours every second or so....can anyone help me through this???

I don't understand the attraction to these "all-in-one" systems. Regardless, 1920 x 1080 is the proper screen resolution for your system, why do you want to change it?

I play SHOTONLINE (golf game) and the issue is that about a month ago, I logged in and the game would only work in window mode (about 30% of my 23" screen) and it is impossible to see or play for that matter. The game server has been working on trying to correct the issue but with no luck. I am looking for any reason/solution to this problem and I was wondering if the resolution had anything to do with this.

The reason I bought the all in one is because it was equal to 490 pounds with office 2010 included and a 3 year warranty

Sounds like it may be a problem with the game site, not your computer. When's the last time you cleared out all your internet garbage files & temp folders?

The problem with all-in-one PCs is that they have very limited upgradeability. As I've stated to a few others, what you bought is basically a laptop without the portability. Plus the graphics are weak. Here's a review of the Intel GMA graphics used in your system:

BTW, OpenOffice (which is free) can do anything MS Office can do & is also fully compatible with it.

Well, it did work for a while at full screen but won't now at all, I was hoping that it was the game site (I thought it was but I wanted to double check everything), I do appreciate the feedback you have given me, as for the temp internet folders and such, they have been dumped as well. Hopefully the web server tech support can come up with something else I can do...they told me to download "Pando" and re-install it but that didn't work either....

I guess my next question is...this sub par video card that is in this Acer, could that be the issue? and is it possible to upgrade it?

I'm not familiar with that game site but I doubt it's too intense for the Intel graphics. And no, the graphics are not upgradeable - just one of the drawbacks to the all-in-one design.
