Acer Aspire one 531h-1729 netbook - atom...

Specs: Windows XP
My child was meddling with my acer notebook the other day. He pretty much grabbed the netbook and dropped it, about 4 or 5 inches from off the ground, for 15 seconds. When I used it after stopping him, it worked decently, then it froze a while later, after leaving home. Coming back, later that day, I tried to use it and it loads up to my password entry screen and it says its loading my personal settings but all i see is my background image. No icons, no taskbar, nada! I have, however, learned to get on safe mode, than restart it, again, to get on, with no hardware problems at all. What do I do?

I think explorer is disabled. When u see background image press control + alt + delete or control + shift + esc to bring up task manager then file>run and type explorer, now u can see your precious icons and taskbar. Download autoruns, open it, click logon tab and tick explorer.
