Specs: Vista home premium
I Accidentally crossed the power sw wire with the power led wire on the Gateway gt5453e desktop motherboard then tried to start it. Then I went back and realized what I did. So i corrected the wires but it still wont start just the fans turn on.

Look further, the polarity of the SW wires is not important - they connect to the switch that is either open or closed. If it was working beforehand maybe you knocked something else in the process.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Yeah, it's probably related to whatever else you were doing while inside the case and not the fact they were temporarily connected wrong.

very long shot... is there a fuse within the system? if so, can you verify it's not blown?
