Specs: Windows 7, core2duo/4gb
hello sir Recently i had purchased DELL STUDIO 1555 model.
i am using Windows 7 32-bit operating system.my problem is i am unable to make my harddisk(500GB) more than three partitions. i made drives C-150gb D-100gb F-125gb.

more i have 89 gb unallocated.
i have tried to alocate this 89gb in all the three drives through memorymanagement but it is unallocating in any of the drives and also idividual drive.
how to allocate this 89gb into D or F drives..? or
how to make seperate partition(more than 3 drives).?

do you have any hidden partitions? MS allows only 4 primary partitions, You may have more if you have logical partitions in an extended partition.

Windows 7 may create a small partition at the front of the drive. Do you have such a partition?

Disk inspection is better done with third party software. Unallocated space can only be added to adjacent partitions, You may have to resize and move partitions to get partitions of certain sizes. If there was an error in the original partitioning you might have to copy the data off, repartition, then restore, I find it easier to get a new drive, partition as desired, then copy the data.
