Specs: xp32, 555 phenom
I know there is a 2.19tb limit when booting to the OS but what about storage? If I use a 3tb drive as a non boot drive will xp see and format a 3tb drive?

I doubt it can see the entire drive as a single partition but it might work in a non-boot storage use.

There are some work arounds. I think some of the drives have a jumper to disallow some of the space. Some have software.

From what I can tell from those links and a few others its not going to work on xp32. I dont see any issues with just formatting for a 2TB, then maybe some day I'll given in and get win7 and at that time re-format for 3. Should work , right?
