34 pin floppy drive to 40 pin motherboard con

Specs: Windows 7, 64 bit, 8 gig
I am trying to install a 34pin Sabrent 68 in 1 floppy drive/card reader into my Asus desk top. however the Asus only has a 40pin socket. i have two open slots on the mother board for a possible 34 pin adaptor card,howerver have not been able to find one. Looking for a solution.

The 40 pin connection is for an IDE drive, you can't connect a floppy drive to it. You can however purchase USB floppy drives.

PCI floppy drive adapter are available.
