I still have the same error and its been happening for almost a year and i cant use my other desktop pc 2215-EIT failure. VA boot record read failure.
Ensure drive with VA image is installed correctly. It's a HP Compaq DC7800P
System BIOS 1.32I have tried a number of BIOS settings, without success.
Maybe it has something to do with MEBx.

CTRL + P at boot dit not make a change.CMOS reset, did not make a difference.
I have disconnected all usb devices and still having the same error. Tried to press ctrl+p to enter MEB EX, nothing happened
Replacing the system with a newly formatted hdd didnt helped as well. I also tried to press the button on the mobo to reset cmos and still nothing happened.Go to your BIOS, F10 at POST
For the HP Compaq dc7800p Business PC, go to:
• Security > System Security > Virtualization Technology (VTx)
• Security > System Security > Virtualization Technology Directed I/O (VTd)
Disabled both, nogo2223-EIT Failure. VT must be enabled to launch VA. Enter F10 Setup and enable Intel Virtualization Technology.
those are the steps i did, so far no luck :(
Thank you very much

I've seen several posts on that error in various forums, with no solution in any of them. One guy contacted HP who told him to send the PC to them, but gave no clue as to how much they would charge him, so he declined. Another chap simply advised that the PC was "stuffed" and should be disposed of.
Sorry I have nothing encouraging to say.

I too found many forums with this frustrating problem. One learned man suggested the manual here http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/s... Which seems to devote a great deal of it's content to the "Virtual Appliance" feature on these systems. Other than recommending that you read it well a few times I have no specific suggestions. Sorry :(.
