15 pin to 9 pin D shell

Specs: Windows Vista
I have a set top box with a 15 pin D shell output.
I have a BARCO CRT projector which has a 9 pin D shell RGB input option, I therefore need a 15 pin female to 9 pin male adaptor, are these available and will it work going from the 15 pin to 9 pin?
The other option I have thought of is a Female 15 pin to 9 pin female connector.
The main input to the unit at present is connected via the normal BNC RGBHV input

Hi Imax,

it is one thing to have an adapter that connects the pins physically, but you *MUST* be 100% sure the signals are correct. If not, one or both devices could be damaged.

An example of this happening, is when connecting a 25 pin RS232 serial interface to a 25 pin RS232 parallell interface. Easily connected with a gender changer but signals differ and result is toast.

Please advise back on progress.

Good Luck -- Keep us posted.
