I have a lenovo think pad that I can't play Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on. Anyone know why?
Thinkpads are business laptops, so I'd assume they don't have the 3D support required.
This computer can support AutoCAD, Revit, Google Sketch up, etc, why wouldn't it be able to do 3d?
There are dozens of different ThinkPad models. There's no way you're gonna get a decent answer if you don't list the specs or the model number.
I have the W510 with windows 7, model number 4389-W4J. I Put Battlefield into the drive, I can open the folders, but when I click AutoRun it almost locks up and a loud noise comes from the disk drive.
a loud noise comes from the disk drive.
Describe.
The noise sounds like the disk is hitting something every so often on a turn, or that something is hitting the disk. It makes the noise about twice a second. I have tried CDs and regular DVDs in the drive, and it works fine, and makes no noise.
Sounds like a problem with the copy protection. Call EA's customer support and complain. And next time, use Steam?
