Specs: Windows Vista, Dell inspiron 1420
My computer would not run the demo very well but eventually it just shut down and wouldn't run at all! I got the real game for Christmas but i started it up and.. the same problem! it just lagged and lagged and lagged! I don't know if the problem is the video and sound cards, or that my hard drive doesn't have enough space. Please help me because this is over $50.00 down the drain! it says that it needs 7.5GB of space in hard drive. Please answer these questions. The REQS to run the game are:
OS: Windows 7, Vista, Vista64, XP
CPU: 3.0 GHz P4, Duel Core 2.0 or AMD64X2 (or higher)
RAM: 1GB for XP/2GB for Vista
HARD DRIVE: At least 7.5GB of free space
VIDEO: DirectX 9 compatable video card
SOUND: DirectX 9.0 compatable sound card

Well I can tell you both from advice and experience that a full
to capacity hard drive will be slow and often even deadly to
running processes as windows cannot access files fast
enough to run them (for example textures in a game, or even
a word document). If you can't rip your system open to add
additional storage buy an external hard drive. If that is too
much money for you then you need to clear your HD to at
least have 10% free space at all times, I would even
recommend 20% and use disk defragmentor often. No matter
if this is the cause of your problem or not you SHOULD FIX
second you should check all your video, sound and chipset
drivers in device manager, if any of them are non-existent or
have errors update them.
The name of the game and your operating system would be
nice, I would also like to know your system specs to give you
further advice (for any future questions about your pc, it is
normally required for people to help you). If you do not know
them, device manager will list them in drop down menus. I will
need to know what is under Processors, Display adapters and
probably your amount of ram, which you can scan for at
crucial's website, use their "system scanner tool" off their
main page.

Are you asking about an Inspiron 1420 laptop? I doubt the onboard graphics are up to snuff. You already knew the demo wouldn't run right so why did you bother getting the full version?
