why does my laptop minimize a game im playing

Please help me when i press f1 or f2 or f3 or f4 or other fs my game minimizes and it opens me the how much battery i have left or maybe it cuts my internet
connection and more PLEASE HELP!
my laptop is windows 7! please help

Yes, it's supposed to do that, those are function keys and they will bring up information such as the help option, etc. What are you expecting them to do?
